Thermography allows humans to see and measure heat as a "heat diagram". All materials on earth emit heat energy, but unfortunately the human eye cannot detect it. Thermography, or simply thermal images allow the user to see heat energy and therefore find abnormalities in a building that can indicate active termites without the need for intrusive and destructive inspections.

THERMAL IMAGING &
TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT

Finding a problem with an infrared camera is sometimes not enough. In fact, an infrared camera image without accurate temperature measurements says very little about termite activity hidden behind a wall. A Thermal Image without measurement can be misleading because it may visually suggest a problem that does not exist.

FIND PROBLEMS FASTER AND EASIER

It is easy to miss critical building issues using only the naked eye, moisture meters and spot thermometers. A thermal imaging camera will give you a total view of a situation and instant diagnostic insights. It not only helps locate anomalies but can also show the full extent of problems. While Thermal Imaging Cameras are not a 'cure all' they are now an essential tool.

THERMOGRAPHY AND INFRARED LIGHT

Infrared light or thermography is the use of an infrared imaging and measurement camera to "see" and "measure" thermal energy emitted from an object. Unlike visible light, in the infrared world, everything with a temperature above absolute zero emits heat. Even very cold objects, like ice cubes, emit infrared. Termites produce a different heat signal to their surroundings. Ter
